Our Refreshing Memories branded weighted blankets are multi layered blankets with a fine cotton outer layer. Quality sewn pockets hold fine "sand like" rounded glass beads that are held in place so the weight is evenly distributed over the blanket. The use of finely graded glass beads helps reduce the likelihood of the blanket harbouring germs and allergens while also reducing bulk. The sizing of our blankets has been carefully optimized to keep the weight distributed over the body and not resting on the bed.
